Step 4
Do not raise the vehicle until you are sure the jack is
securely engaged.
Passengers must not remain in jacked up vehicle.
• To raise the vehicle, turn the handle
clockwise. Only raise the vehicle as much as is needed to change a wheel.
Step5
• Fully unscrew the wheel bolts and remove wheel.
Place the spare wheel against the wheel hub so that the bolt holes in the wheel are in
line with the threaded holes in the wheel hub. Insert the wheel bolts and handtighten them
(clockwise) in alternating order.
Step 6
• Lower the vehicle by turning the handle
counter-clockwise until tire touches ground.
Step7
• Alternately tighten bolts firmly with the lug
wrench.
Correct tightness of the wheel bolts is important.
• Correctly tightened bolts should have a torque of 65
ft lb/9 mkg. This torque can be obtained with the lug wrench by any person of average
strength. If in doubt about the correct tightness of the wheel bolts, have it checked with
a torque wrench by your service station.
Step8
• Fully lower the vehicle and remove jack.
• Correct the air pressure of the tire you have just
installed. Cold tire inflation pressures are listed on a sticker below the right or left
front door catch.
• Securely store damaged wheel and secure jack. Have
flat tire repaired promply.
TIRES/WHEELS
The original equipment tires and wheels on you vehicle
comply with all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.
To maintain these safety standards, remember the following:
• Wheels and wheel bolts are matched to fit your
Kubvan.
• Do not attempt to mount wheels of other vehicle
types on your Kubvan.
• The use of wheels and wheel bolts that do not meet
specifications of the original factory installed equipment will affect the safe operation
of your vehicle.
• If replacement wheels are needed, consult your
Grumman Olson dealer.
Tire pressures
WARNING
Incorrect tire pressures cause increased tire wear and
adversely affect road holding of the vehicle, leading to loss of control.
Required cold tire inflation pressures are listed on a
label below the left or right front door catch.
Use an accurate tire pressure gauge when checking inflation
pressures.
